Rocky, owner and operator of GhostRecon.net did a interview with the designer of a new device that lets Xbox 360 players use a mouse and keyboard... check it out if interested:

No thanks. I can understand wanting to use a mouse, but not a keyboard. Horrible movement to begin with, but to translate it to console as well sounds like a nightmare.
Those are the people that make the G27 adapter for the 360 too. Not sure if they ever got proper force feedback or decent rotation out of that system. I think it was stuck on 900°.
I still think it's ridiculous that MS...WINDOWS...doesn't work it out to have pc peripherals on the 360. AND they don't make any themselves now.

The old Belkin Nostromo would be perfect with a mouse for Xbox shooting games.
I cant play any of them with the Xbox controller
Cheers

Just when they got me accustomed to the controller.

The only PC peripheral I've ever wanted to work on the 360 were my digital USB headphones.

I might be interested in that. I was so much better with shooters on the PC as opposed to the gamepad. I still have a hard time with it. If it wasn't so expensive I would think about it.

I own the original XIM, before it got all fancy. It does a great job with the mouse emulation and such, but the keyboard is certainly inferior to the thumbstick.

A few other companies that attempted to the have both a thumbstick and mouse were the XFPS and something else made by SplitFish. Their idea for the left hand thumbstick and buttons worked well, but the mouse emulation was terrible IMHO. XIM gets the mouse right, but I hate using the keyboard.

XIM is also good for using other PC goodies though. For instance, a joystick and throttle smile
