live meaning released or up for teasing? Because that was a lot of noise that sent the racer in me wild... My ears are pricked and awaiting more news...

I'm so out of hype potential right now, I need something concrete. An announcement next week better contain some substance, like perhaps screenshots, hopefully videos, and definitely some sort of features list and release projection.

I agree on the substance part Jedi and for me hopefully more GTR2 style than Race07 style in the game play and feel.

Agreed. It better not be RaceOnEvoBlaBlaBla part 2.

Sounds great, but I'm afraid the graphics engine being black and white is not going to cut it, modern day sims should be *color* graphics...

Looking forward to it, just hoping it's a new sim engine and not just GTR/Race07 with new car/tracks.

Oh come on now, I thought everyone here says sims aren't about graphics but physics and control!
I wonder what kind of fps boost you might get from black and white? Next best thing to a text based sim.

Rumor has it that there is a paint kit included to make the black and white quite colorful. A greater problem will be staying inside the lines.

I'm thinking colorblind drivers will have an advantage at least until the custom paint kit becomes popular.

Say "no" to browser-based racing.

With all the confidence in Simbin inspired by recent releases of Race07 series addons, will this be GTR2-Lite plus bonus content? Or, something well below the standard set by GTR2, aimed at quick cash flow?

I had to at least think that, but I hope it's way off the mark. duck

I'm having trouble getting excited given the quality of what has been released since the Blimey split. It's not bad really (GTR Evolution decent), but nothing special and the old passion isn't really evident.

I hope they've got something good up their sleeve though. If Lizard is just the same old ISI engine with a graphical makeover, I'm not sure that will cut it once rFactor2 is out. That said, if it has all the features that GTR2 had, it will probably be worth buying.
