cloud storage Q?

if anyone knows... via the new Xbox 360 cloud storage tool... I see where you can save games and sruff and when you connect to any xbox you can load that saved game... but was wondering... I use a thumb drive to store all my saved games and my PROFILE... that way i can go to any of my 3 360's insert the thumbdrive and my profile will load along with access to my game saves... but can i ditch the thumbdrive and have my profile on the cloud... so it connects to ANY xbox?

saved games are attached to profiles arent they? wont you have to sign in to your profile on the xbox's to access your cloud space?
I guess I'll test this out tonite when i get home.

I have 2 Xbox 360's i use... I have my profile and saved games on a thumbdrive... so all i do is plug that in and when I turn on the 360, which ever one I'm at... the profile auto-loads, and then I load my saved games from it... I now know I can put my saved games on the cloud option... and load from there... but I'd like to ditch the thumbdrive, and have my profile load from the cloud no matter what 360 I'm at... thats my Q.

My uninformed guess: I don't think you should lose the drive. Even if you use the cloud storage for the game saves, I think you want to use that for your profile or you'll be recovering your profile each time you switch machines.

http://www.pcmag.com/slideshow_viewer/0,1205,l%253D0%2526a%253D291430%2526po%253D,00.asp?According to that you can download your profile.... try it... upload your profile to cloud, and goto the other console and try to download. seems like it would be quicker and easier keeping the thumbdrive. as with Cloud, you'd have to login, access cloud, download, then sign in. and you only get 512mb.

funny MS never mentioned they added support for "Dual View" (2 images on the same screen, players wear glasses, player 1 see's his image, player 2 see's his own.)
i think PS3 has this and calls it something else.
