It was required to install but I do not use that to play.

I think I encountered the ramp strike bug last night frown It was an ugly approach but, certainly not worthy of an explosion!

Has anyone encountered this issue (Warthog Users Only)

As I was working my way back to the boat tonight on mission 3 (ID blockade runners) I brought up my FPAS page and realized I may have been over max trap weight last night and not the victim of the ramp strike bug. Fail on me.

I never had any issues with the vanilla install on W7 x64, no compatibility mode...

1920 x 1080 with a 32-bit color depth looks pretty amazing, bye bye color-banding wink
Almost done with the 32-bit mod... So many little things to fix.

Oh by the way, HUD appears bigger due to the increased field-of-view... we'll have to work on this to reduce the HUD size when increasing the FOV.
Bigger, readable fonts are also on the list for a readable HUD at high-def res.
