Are there any fixes for the myriad of ATC bugs? I'm trying to play the campaigns but the ATC are derailing my missions before they even get off the ground. The ATC is always clearing my flight for takeoff while another flight is presently taking off or landing on the opposite end of the same runway, causing mid-air collisions, runway collisions, and general stoppages on the runway because the AI are to f**king stupid to go around each other, and evidently the ATC is too f**king stupid to realize that you don't clear two flights on the same damn runway.

I haven't experienced that very often; much more frequently is the failure of ATC to clear the entire flight for takeoff - only clearing one element, or one pilot and telling the rest to go get a drink, find a girl, attend classes for a semester, negotiate a new home mortgage, order pizza, take the dog out for a walk, make world peace...anything but "cleared for takeoff."

I've never had that happen.....interesting. I can save my joystick setting and other preferences if I wanted to do a fresh install, correct? That's the only thing keeping me from starting over--setting everything up was a PITA.

Jinro, I don't believe your realism and other setup options are saved unless you save your logbook and one or two other related files tied to the same pilot, and then replace them in your new install. Check your config or related folder in Falcon. However, if you are using BMS, that has the config editor, outside of the in game UI set up options. For that set up, which you may be referring to, I believe you can save a Filter for your selections in a directory of your choice. Make sure it isn't in your Falcon overall directory and then wiped out when you uninstall! Choose another location or better, name the filter clearly, then go and back it up someplace safe.

Whether joystick settings are saveable either through the pilot/logbook/ini etc files, or in some other way, I really don't know.

Good luck!

As I've just said here its probabbly a freq. problem, because you're maybe on another airbase freq. and they can clear you for take off regardless where you at.

It's definitely not a freq. problem. I don't even know how to change my UHF freq., and the tower will clearly identify itself as being the airbase I'm at.

I'm also getting constant "missed approaches" and cancellations during landings, despite following ATC's directions to the letter.
