This really irks me - Levi Jeans cut back on belt loops on all their models, from 7 loops to 5.

I noticed after 6 months of a new pair of 560's that my belts were getting to a v shape and then the right side belt loop tore out halfway on the bottom - then a couple days later it tore off completely. I've been wearing Levi's for 40 years and this never happened with 7 loops.

So I bought Carhartt's Relaxed Fit (much less at $29) and I think I'm going to try a pair of Wrangler's, too.

Thanks a bunch Levi. Cut costs and lose a customer who knows where to stick it to ya - at SimHQ! lawncareby20mm

My Wranglers have seven. They better not cut back to five loops. I'll get real mad.

Well, I'll be disappointed anyway.

Could not agree more, now that my son wears my size, he loves my castoffs. He prefers the ones
with holes in them. No loss to me. If the pocket won`t hold my keys they are his. My Wranglers
fit great. I prefer the regular fit and they better keep the 5 belt loops.

Going to need to buy some more, turns out the ones I am wearing have hole in the pocket and I
can feel my keys poking me again.

Carhartt FTW (although a bit pricy).

I have a pair of casual, loose fit jeans that only have 5 loops and I can say for certain that if I ever did any kind of physical labor in them they wouldn't last a day!

I have two pairs that of 5 loop that i cut down into boardie type shorts ...summer . I just turn my belt over , one side is a dull back and the other is a double stitch pattern..voila..no v smile You gotta have a wide belt though , not them skinny girly ones. And yes they last the test of physical labour wink

I've been converted to camo surplus for the last several years. Full length and shorts available locally for 10 to 20 bucks. Last a long time, lots of pockets, shed dust well, dry quickly, and have full count of belt loops.

Am I the only one counting loops on their jeans now? Never thought about it. LOL
I get mine at Bass Pro these days, their Redhead label is pretty good. 7 loops I'm proud to say!

My Levi's cargo pants have 7 loops. Yeah, I much prefer 7 loops to 5. The solid support is also better for carrying concealed with a side inside-the-pants holster.

Noticed it lately too, and have the same v-shape belt problem.

But you guys shouldn't complain, a Levi's 501 here in Belgium costs almost twice the price it is in the USA! That's why I always order them in country, costs me around 40 bucks less, shipping included.

Yep I know what you mean by the price of clothing in Belgium. We shop for clothes back in the UK as they are much cheaper and children's clothing has no VAT (=BTW=TAX)in UK either so we stock up on stuff for the grandkids while away.
Currently I'm modeling a nice pair of two tone, grey and black, HeRock working trousers with added knee protection and extended belt loops for added security this model also sports the nail pouch accessory for those that don't want to have to climb up and down the ladder too often smile

Heh, I completely mis-interpreted your thread title. I thought it was that you worked for Levi's and you got laid off.
