...or is Gaijin full-tilt on the 'World of Planes' (still think that's a stupid title) thing?

Haven't heard any more development news for Wings of Prey, even the Mission Builder that was under development has evaporated. The only news flow at the moment is around World of Planes, though devs did release some new (user made) skins for Wings of Prey recently.

Yeah, it was that massive 5gb patch that made me wonder if there wasn't still some active development going on for it.

Xander, Gaijin is on full-tilt with World of Planes,,and We do know that it will have Pacific theatre in it.

As for the mission builder , they stated a long time ago that after looking into it,, that it was sadly not possible for them to add it into the engine used for Wings of prey, and that it would be in the next game.
Hence,
World of Planes is being built with Gaijin's newest engine Dagor 3.


I'm Alpha testing World of Planes , and due to a NDA I can't say pretty much anything, Other then, WOW !

Another thing I can say is that Gaijin has confirmed is that World of Planes will also have the Korean theatre.


I personally thought a better name would have been "Planes of War"

Yeah, if I remember correctly this is the "MMO" with only 32 player limit. lol Basically this game is going to be Quake, but in the air.

That's kind of the vibe I'd been getting. I was really looking for something with nice, modern graphics that had a reasonably long (or, better, dynamic-ish) co-op multiplayer campaign in the Pacific with 'modern' graphics.

If only I could give you my shoes,, You would see the Sun a different way and SMILE.
