I tried to install FacetracknoIR with no real effect on the game, but then, when I went to play afterwards, I found I was stuck in snap view, which I don't like. No matter how many times I selected pan mode in both the spalsh screen options and in game options, I was stuck with snap mode. I restored the deafualts, but still the same. So then I uninstalled FacetracknoIR, and also recovered the game. After I recovered the game, however, the options button had gone from the bottom of the screen.
I've tried updating the game, but it says it's fully updated.

Anyone have any idea what's going on?

Thanks

When you do a recovery, RoF resets its resolution. If it's less than 1280x1024 (IIRC), you won't see the bottom side of the screen -> your problem.

BTW i think (at least for older versions of FacetrackNoIR) you will have to also clean the registry with respect to some TrackIR device path, because the software 'fakes' to be a TrackIR device and this may have some unwanted effects in RoF, about camera movements etc. (only if you find any odd behavior and you don't know why, else - ignore the last sentence).

Thankd for that. Just checked the full screen box in the splash screen options and that fixed the internal options problem. I had a quick fly and everything seems back to normal (so normal in fact, I was dead in about four minutes). I'll do a reg clean just to be on the safe side.

Again, thanks for the help

Phil
