Oh, just some tank killing would be nice. If you're feeling lucky SAM evasion. . .

There is a tank-killing video by Wags on YouTube. This and this show pretty much what you need to know for guns attacks.

As for SAM evasion, the best way is to simply fly low or high to avoid getting shot at, if a missile is in the air, dive for the deck, put the incoming missile (or the launcher) on your beam, and put out countermeasures.

Anything more specific you want to know?

Not quite in keeping with this thread, but I just installed Windows 7 64 bit (doing a dual boot) and was wondering what the best procedure is for uninstalling A-10 in XP and then installing in Win 7 - do I have to deactivate it first or anything like that?

The new Starforce constantly adds +1 activation coupon on your key every 2week therefore you dont really need to care about it. thumbsup

Uninstall in XP, delete the install folder if it's still there. I would also advise you delete your saved game folder (don't know where it is located in XP) just to be sure.

Then install from a full, clean 1.1.1.0 installer. You will want to re-do your joystick button mapping just to avoid any problems too. Myself and a few users had weird problems with our pre-saved configs after re-install, so re-doing the mapping avoids this.

Hope that helps!
