This breaks Hayden's Eyefinity fixer program... frown

Native Eyefinity mode with the game really screws up the menus...

The word is that this patch is breaking more things than its fixing. It may be a good idea to wait for the next one.

Right, that really does it. Not only do I have to use Steam now on the gaming machine in order to use this borked patch, which doesn't even address the issues I experienced (broken quests), now the menu won't work in Eyefinity once more? banghead

I'll stick to 1.1 for now or - even better - quit all Skyrim activity until a real and decent fix has been issued.

EDIT: and while they are at it, they might look into the Eyefinity support as well! I was really happy when I found the fix by Hayden, but imo the manufacturer of the title should take care of this.

Yeah reading the brief patch notes I didnt see anything I cared about. But reading what might be broken now I am even less enthused about it.

I beg to differ...

With the patch you have no resistance or weakneses to anything and your armor does nothing to protect you.

I've put in a few hours since the patch and the only bug I've seen so far is 1 dragon flying a little bit erratically, not backwards though.

Bethesda news of new patch next week, the Creation Kit, and Steam Workshop.

Quote:
Continued Game Updates – This week we released update 1.2 across all platforms, and we’ll be releasing an incremental update next week. We anticipate it will be up on PC first, and then hit PS3 and Xbox 360 later in the week. Among other things, the update will fix issues like magic resistance not calculating properly and the rare, amazing backwards flying dragon. Once the update is released, we’ll share the full release notes.

New .7 Eyefinity Fix from Hayden. I'm about to see how it works! Also downloaded the 11.11C Performance drivers from ATI. They seem more stable and quick, with CrossfireX scaling in Skyrim reported!
