When I'm in the hangar fitting out my current mission's aircraft, I've noticed that the little preview window where you can see what the various skins look like before you apply them is actually blank. There is no preview of the skin anymore...just a black box where pic used to be. I still can click on it and the new skin is applied to the aircraft.

Do any of you have this problem as well? Or was something changed from the last version because it was working for me before last patch.

Yes, I've noticed this since the last patch. Must be a small bug?

sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't seems like I'll get a few that are black and then they start showing up, sometimes it's the community skins so perhaps the skin file has the preview in it and some are missing?

I think it's mentioned in the patch notes, you have to download and install the 'skin preview' conversion pack (jpg to dds):

I will have to read more closely when patching...completely missed this.

I know this is small fish in the grand scheme of things, but I was wondering when we can expect the "Demo" cue on the GUI to go away for those of us who purchased planes directly, as opposed to purchasing ICE.

It would have been nice to be told about the change. I found out from some guys in the Syndicate server the other night. Am I the only one that doesn't read the release notes?

No offense but where/how else did you expect to be told about a change aside from the release notes. Jason only calls me if it is a really BIG issue!!

I just downloaded the latest skin pack and the problem resolved itself.
