So my original email address is no more (had gotten account a long time ago on dial-up and company decided to kill all dial-up accounts so that email address is gone). New computer, trying to access Red Orchestra 2 on steam. Need a verification code that is sent to old email address (the one no longer accessible). OK, go to steam and change email address for primary. UGGGGGGHHHH. Email address changed without problem, but verification code required to sign in still goes to old email. Send an email to support explaining problem and get generic answer - Go to this webset and all will be revealed! Nope. Have another email into support on Friday with no reponse (understand the delay is probably holiday). We will see.

Careful, Snake. If you complain about Steam, you'll be inundated with people posting that it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. Ain't it just wonderful?

Hope you get the problem resolved, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Steam is on computers. Therefore, when it screws up, it will always screw up in some way that makes no sense but would be easily fixable if it was done by people, like all other computer-related things.
Solution: paper and pencil and abacus.

Solution is that a Steam tech Login and change the email address field for your Red Orchestra DRM in their database.

Hang in there. It took me over a week to get my first real reply from support but after that they answered back the next day for the most part. It took me over a month to get Half Life 2 running with a dial-up connection and I have to give them credit for hanging with me for that long but other than that I'd say Steam is the epitome of FUBAR. I seem to recall a similar problem and the answer was something weird like you had to restart your computer before steam would resend a key or give you the option to resend it or something like that.
