Last Monday of each month has been "Player vs. Player" nights for a good while now. Due to what seems like a consistently low turnout on these nights, and since this negatively impacts the quality of gameplay for PvP, I'm going to transition back to co-op play every Monday going forward from next month through 2012.

The PvP specific missions we made will stay on the server, and we may play one on a Monday here and there. As well, we may make more frequent use of the OPFOR slots in our co-op missions to add that extra depth. As always, listen for the admin to decide on the OPFOR roles for each mission.

I've had some fun playing PvP but I can't say that I'll miss it.

I think the more recent drop in attendance is also partly due to BF 3.

I am not a fan of PvP in Arma either, and will not miss it either. While I am all for a mission here or there with player opfor, a full mission night of it makes me wince.

Besides Adlabs- You, Tao, and Fatty do a fine job of instructing the AI in how to kill us!

I tried, but 3AM is too early (or late) to even end a game for me. smile

While I dislike PvP in general, I never had much problem with the missions we did, so I'm not averse to doing say 1 every other week or so if player numbers are there.
However, I have never skipped a night because of it. I've skipped nights for many OTHER reasons, but never that.

I had fun occasionally, but I won't really miss the full on PvP missions. I pretty much supported PvP nights, but my heart wasn't really in it. I still like the occasional mission like we normally have (mostly bluefor and a limited number of opfor).

I can stay awake fine, but that alarm at 7AM turns me into a zombie. zombie I've found I need at least 5 hours of sleep, to be able to 'fake' alertness at work. reading wink

Oh geez.... eek2

You know, I thought we had a good chance at beating that Excavation mission on Monday, once we cleared the start point.

Yeah, for having lost the Ka-50 so early, we did quite well.
