No overcast , low visibility videos or pictures so far, mostly sunny days.
Its not British weather for sure.

What's the reason?
Are the clouds a system hog?

Yes there is currently no weather. I had a chance to fly a 'weather' mission and got a meager 5 - 7 fps. Yikes

I think the weather effects are waiting on the new graphics engine. @50% increase in fps will give the devs a lot of headroom to introduce better weather.

I think as simmers we often forget this is a game. Accurate weather, while realistic, would make for some very boring visuals. With clouds above and haze below we might as well fly gray planes and never really see one another as well. As it is, the visuals are very good, bordering on great, and stand to get even better with the upcoming engine/patch. Dynamic weather would be nice but the clouds and scenery are quite nice at the moment. I look forward to the future of this game with great anticipation. Bring on the desert or the steppes!

I thought the summer of 1940 was a rather dry summer.

So, are there day-to-day weather reports from England, during the battle?
