Well, I returned to F-15 after a while... I recall having this issue but don't remember how I solved it back then. Every time I get to the ingress point, the thing halts. It happens in every mission of the Iraq campaign (works in Iran).

Any idea how to solve this? I installed the game, the 1.17 patch, set compatibility Win98... I'm on WinXP.

I also had a lot of crashes with F15 in Iraq, but Iran worked, I think Iraq is to packed with SAM and AAA sites, I'm running XP. It happens to some apparently. But a member here, X-ray, made some changes to the F15.exe file and no more crashes. Check this thread for a download link. Hope it works for you, it did for me. All information can be found in the thread. Try to mess around with compatibility mode as well, I think I'm running F-15 in Win95-mode (or Win98, I can't remember and I don't have my XP-laptop with me know). Good luck.
