I have been playing IL2 since it's first release way back when. I have been wanting to try the Ultapack 3.0 mod with the Dark Blue Water mod as I always play offline. The trouble is I am not real good at computer stuff and know I would never figure out how to get it installed and running correctly. I have IL2-1946 patched to 4.09m.

So I am asking if someone would be kind enough to DL the files for both mods, burn them onto a cd and then send the cd to me. I would gladly pay for the cd, the postage, and some extra for your time. I would like to be able just put the cd in the computer and put all the files into whatever folder they are supposed to go and have it ready to run.

I have read all the different posts showing how to dl and install the Ultrapack mod, but believe me I will never get it done correctly, I don't even know what a Torrent dl is. So if anyone would be interested in doing this for me I would be very grateful, if not, I understand, as its asking for alot of your time.

Also if this post breaks any of the SimHQ rules feel free to delete it, as I'm not sure if I am going out of bounds with this request. And if someone would be interested in doing this just send me a pm to my SimHQ account here.

man, im recently back into this, trying to get my sim up to date.
im up to 4.101, but ultrapack and hsfx have eluded me for weeks.
lots of broken links, long wait times, corrupt files, and emails from my isp warning me
about my suddenly massive download rates.
i feel your frustration.

Hi, ALL the links and how to do its are HERE SAS You need to download the UP3 torrent and install then you download RC4 and install. Then you can install DBW

i followed the links on that site,
and i had downloaded it from there before.

i did it again (3 more times)
and got crc errors in all.
the installer refuses to install the corrupt files, so the install never works.
the last time, i extracted to a folder, ignored the error messages, then pasted into il2 46.
it seems to work- the install seems unstable, as it crashes sometimes, but usually it works.
i copied that install, and added dbw to it.
again with the crc errors, but i ignored them.
it also works.

tracy- i could burn the up3 files to cd, but you will need to copy/paste them into your game.
i dont really trust this install yet either- i fear there will be issues with it.

Over the past week I got some real specific instructions on how to install the mod, so after Christmas I am going go give it a try when I have some more time. So no need to go to all that trouble.

If it works, I will gladly send you the same instructions I used and hopefully we will both have it all up and running by February !

once downloaded, upon testing, extracting or whatever i try, i get a crc failed in up_cockpits02.sfs file is broken.
same as in all my attempts- that file is always the first to be corrupt.
tried with winrar, 7zip and alzip.

if i continue, i will surely recieve more of the same errors i have seen with all my downloads.

great connection here, no pc issues. really strange.

As directed above, also get the RC4 cumulative update once you have the basic UP3.0 set installed.
