What are the five little changes you'd like to see made to ROF, those five little things that could be easily changed and would make the game more enjoyable for you.

-- Please note - these are not a list of demands, just suggestions...

My five would be...

1. Streamers for flight leaders.
2. 'Flaming Onion' 3.7cm flak machine cannons
3. Heavy 'Archie' defences (with 'Flaming Onions!) around balloons in campaigns.
4. Names for Gunners (not just pilots) in 2 seater campaigns.
5. Reloading of Lewis and Parbellum machine guns. A simple button to press and a reloading bar would be enough for me.

These are just my idea's... What whould you pick?

Ok, 5 changes which are not too hard and could make Rise of Flight more enjoyable for me:

1. when i fly, as i have little time, to use that time more carefully - e.g. to set up some objectives for myself - now i try this or that maneuver/objective, or practice flying one particular plane i don't know.
2. to actually try to implement things i've read in some aerobatics books.
3. to save some time and actually start creating a training mission with circles and all stuff, then practice by using it (i have some idea of a slow train which triggers some circles/gates at some distance in front of it, and the player has to fly through those gates without being hit by the train, of course)
4. to learn some proper BnZ in a specific plane
5. to enter more often into the multiplayer 'arena', because there are some very good pilots there.

1. Have the default payload for all aircraft be bomb free (requires changing one byte)
2. Improved modeling of gun jams (sometimes takes minutes to clear and can't be cleared while pulling-g's). Pauses for reloading drums.
3. Gunners are slower to turn the gun against the wind, the gun is harder to turn while it is firing, the gun is effected by G-forces.
4. An offline campaign mode.
5. Spawning infantry near ground objects (IMHO, should be doable so long as only small raiding parties or installations behind the lines are modelled - rather than giant charges. Il-2, EAW and Red Baron II all had this feature).

1) Re-load and gun jam routines (As stated above, a button press and status bar, while flying straight and level, would suffice, maneuvering during a drum change would result in loss of ammunition drum)

2) Hazelton muzzel boosters. Weather vane gun sight, that I can't remember the name of, for turret guns.

3) White "Archie" for Allies and more specific to were aircraft are so they can be used to locate enemy aircraft, at the moment it just seems too random.

4) Camel and DR 1 have their top speed reduced (FM's reviewed)

5) Have another layer of clouds, (tactical thing)

1) Being able to drag 2d instruments and map to a second screen
2) spawning of infantry
3) Multiplayer campaign that a small squad could play together as a squadron
4) More intense activity crossing no mans land.
From reports I dont think it is as dangerous as it should be (links up with item3, so that missions can be flown in support of attacks)
5) more population of airfields, both home and target, and sound effects for home airfield to make immersion of population effective (mechanics, other aircraft engine testing etc)

Geez, I think my 5 appear scattered through-out the posts above.

Not in any order:
1) Reloadable Lewis with real rate of fire
2) Incendiary ammo (instead of bullet proof balloons)
3) Hide from AI behind clouds (that didn't get resolved yet, did it?)
4) Archie/AAA (can be ambient, not necessarily from a 3D ground object) that does help you spot BVR distance aircraft
5) A real wish-- more active & scalable ground environment (ie people stuff), though I know that would be a resource/FPS hog...

1)Static aircraft at airfields.
2)Re-worked gunner controls.
3)Lewis re-load
4)FM re-work slower Camel&DR1, faster Albatros.
5)Names and career advancement for gunners/observers not just pilots.

1. Balloons being lowered when attacked, with observers parachuting out.
2. Heavier AA defenses for balloons.
3. When wounded, partial black-outs for 1-3 seconds.
4. Have AI pilots jump from burning planes.
5. As the planes are all beautifully modeled, it would be cool to have "cut-aways" while in the hangar(speaking strictly main menu) to show some of the inards ie wing cutaways, armaments, cockpits(kinda like Jane's WWII Fighters).

1. Less sniper AI
2. Less sniper rear gunners
3. AI flys within envelope (Okay, that might not be little).
4. Balloons winch down.
5. Any performance enhancements that may be possible.
