I'm pretty sure I've purchased everything they offer but this is a good reminder to head over there and verify. Haven't used any of the options yet but what the heck, it's good support.

The field mods are better than I expected. In some cases they aren't too useful, in other cases they are too useful. I'd been waiting to get the N.17 pack (the anemometer to help avoid over-speeds in dives) and the Pfalz D.XII pack (as the plane is a bit of an under-dog and is also a late war prototype for which the Oigee actually seems plausible).

Thanks for the notification. Great deal on the SPAD VII. No problem paying full for the RE8. I would much rather shell out some cash than see the franchise go away.

Strange - The Re8 price seems to be 11.99 now but I paid 8.99 for it the day the sale started....hmmm....

But aside from this, yes the Re8 is worth every penny. Quite aside from anything else, it has one of the most beautiful engine sounds I think I've ever heard in a sim. I could listen to it all day.

Our web guy made a mistake and listed the R.E.8 and its Field Mod at the wrong price for about 12 hours. Some folks got lucky. The R.E.8 was on pre-order at $8.99 for 1.5 months prior to release. We typically don't put the latest plane on sale right after release.

I just picked up the R.E.8 and its field mods.

It's such a beautiful plane I wouldn't have minded paying full whack. As I said, the sound of the engines on their own are a total piece of art. I feel almost guilty. I say almost because the savings went on several shots of fine Jura single malt whiskey for my best friend when we were wetting the head of his first born child tonight!

Unfortunately requests from yours truly to give his daughter the middle name 'Harry Tate' fell on deaf ears. Nevermind, he is young and hopefully he'll name his next child Richthofen.

Really impressed by the field mods, particularly the Aldis Refractor Sight

I spent about $50 today on their site. Best purchases so far. Got me the Harry Tate and a few others, and finally picked up some field mods for some of my favorites. Can't wait to get home and try the RE8 today! GREAT day to be a RoF player and fan. My hangar is getting almost full! I am guessing I am at about 75% or so. This and BF3 are giving my new rig a real workout this holiday season.

So when is the next Sale ?
