Getting back into IL2 after several years away. Tried San's IL2 Mod but would like to get Carchasers FOV mod and try it but cannot find it anywhere after Googling like mad. Anyone have a link or could send it to me (PM me if the latter).

Also, looking for any other "must have" Mods and Guides...suggestions?

If you are an offline player, then you simply must get Dark Blue World mega mod.

Do a google for the download location & info...or simply jump to sas1946 website to find it.

Or if you play online (or both) get HSFX 5.0.1.
I play only online, on the Battle-fields servers, and i allways use HSFX. Has new sounds, new flyable planes, maps objects etc. Simple install and stable.

Another mod you might want to try is UP3RC4. It also adds planes, sounds, maps and such.

I'd say just copy the main 4.10.1 install so you get 4 copies. And install each folder with it's own mod. That way you will have the least trouble.
Just try them and see wich suits you best.

Both Mission4today and SAS1946 have them i think.

If you are brave you can have 4.101,UP3,DarkBlueWorld AND SAS activated mods on 1 install! Just make sure that you keep a back up of 4.101
