None.

I love watching these documentaries (already wearing out my Season 1 DVDs) and there's no era I'm not interested in watching. I just don't want to pretend to fly them myself.

I want multiple autopilot modes to do the hard stuff when I don't feel like it, I want to aim my bombs with the latest and easiest technology and then watch them hit in an MFD screen, I want night vision and ILS "hoops" to fly through, I want SA so good that unless you're flying the latest stuff you're cheating, and most of all I want the odds to always be in my favor by seeing the enemy when they can't see me.

However, the sims I play which give me all this are kinda wasted on my latest PC so I occasionally pull up the SFP1 series and 1946 to gawk at some of the beautiful aircraft I just watched on Dogfights. \:\)

It's funny, that's what I get in the mood for too. Those sims remind me so much of the Dogfight series.

Yeah, since all the things shown have been WWI to 70's, I either fire up Il-2 or CFS3 for WWII and TK's sims for all the rest.

Until now I've only had IL-2 available, so that was it. Now that I've got WOE, I'll pretty much be able to re-inact anything I see. I've also got F4AF ready incase dogfights starts to pull from more recent conflicts.

I think TK could make a really fun F-22 sim if he wanted to. Much of the automation in TAW is already in SFP1 (you can takeoff, navigate and land simply by pressing A [Autopilot] and cycling W [Waypoints]). It's just that, unlike TAW, those abilities aren't accessed via autopilot modes in a clickable MFD screen...

But they could be, keeping SFP1 accessible (as is TAW) while still being believable. I hope one day TK embraces the ultra-modern era (i.e. flyables: F-22, F-35, B2...call it "Stealth Wings Over...[whatever]").

Which has nothing to do with HC's DOGFIGHTS, sorry Whammo.
