Here are some shots from what is the closing event of the season for us - Britcar 'Into the Night' at Brands Hatch. Despite being conscious of the name 'Brands Hatch' since my childhood, I've never been before. It's a truly spectacular circuit, with some scarily steep drops and climbs. Paddock Hill Bend and it's exit are up there with The Corkscrew at Laguna Seca in the Scary Steep Corner league.

This is the Sony / Nissan GT Academy car exiting Paddock Hill.

Smart Car racing. More interesting than you'd think.

Especially as this one entered the braking area for Druids on it's roof before semi-righting itself in the gravel.

There were some good support races, including the Open GTs. This Clio has picked up some front end damage from lap 1 / turn 1.

Cosworth Sierra drops in to Graham Hill Bend.

Autumn racing.

Dodge Viper.

Lotus and Marcos tussling.

Lotus exits Druids

Nissan in Druids. (It's just occurred to me that the retroflective strips on the marshalls look like a Japanese caption Smile2)

Ginetta G55 in Druids.

Thanks for looking!

cheers
Gareth

Looking good, Goon! I remember attending one of those a couple years back - looks like the field is a bit more diverse this time around though; weren't any GTRs or Vipers when I was last there, and certainly no smart cars!

Cool Goon! Looks like club racing here in the States. I haven't seen any Smart Cars yet, but we do get Mini's, Fiestas, and CRXs for our little cars.

Hmmm...wonder if there's a SmartCar mod for rFactor yet...heh.
