I love it.

Best way to play is head to head, both players as CO of maybe a company. You can command everything real time, and can jump into another tank in case you get whacked. Single tank head to head, not so fun.

I'm still a noob. If you wanna play some MP, load up teamspeak on the steel beasts TS server.

congrats... start small... do the tutorials... ranges, quick action, etc etc... then small platoon size missions, (my favorite) where you can learn to split the platoon, using bounding overwatch etc etc... if you try and learn everything at once, it can get overwhelming... work up to the big Bn size battles. I prefer already planed and made platoon size missions for easier learning.

Congrats, and just in time for the new update in December smile
I share my liecences with my son and play over our lan in the house, it works and works well. Sometimes we play co-op and man the same vehicle sometimes it's head to head and all flavours in between.

I recommend to concentrate on one vehicle with the tutorials. It doesn't really matter which one - traditionally the Leopard 2 or M1 are favorites of most - but if you learn that one really well, the other vehicles will become easier to grasp as you can see some similarities and just need to learn the "delta" between the different models.

So, proficiency with one "core vehicle" first, then looking at the higher tactical levels, then other vehicles.

I received the package today but no dongle and no disk in the DVD case and I can't seem to locate their support help desk... Just my luck.

Well I'm not concerned right now, I ordered the sim and the manual, maybe they sent the manual out and placed an empty dvd case in the package, I don' know. I'll contact them after the holidays.

I hate when stuff like this happens.

Last time, it was my brand new gaming rig I picked up from the post office. It kept crashing and rebooting. After much hair pulling and cursing, found out I had a bad memory stick. They fixed me up pronto.

Shoot me an email if you want to do some multi-play. Been a long time since I've done that.

Naturally it hasn't the degree of sophistication that spoiled Leopard brats may take for granted, but it certainly beats the Marder's fire control system, if one would even want to call it that way. Hah!

FWIW...I just picked up SB Pro PE last week, as well.

Absolutely outstanding game. For whatever reason, I am playing around mostly with the Bradleys, and learning how to call in and adjust artillery. Great stuff...can't believe I waited for so long. My only beef is that I already want more...Strykers with ATGM and 105mm; perhaps a Merkava or a Challenger, maybe even smaller AFVs (Weisal, Scimitar, etc)

Although this may sound crazy, I also LOVE the fact that it runs on my fairly average laptop computer. Just goes to show you that excellent gaming does not require a massive 3D-card.

sabot up!
