Tonight we'll play Sahrani Campaign mission #16, previewed here. This should be a short and sweet mission, but with some pretty good excitement.

There are a couple of roles for the MH-60 evac crew, so double check your controls before joining.

See you there!

I'll be there.

Note also that my new aircraft-oriented mission 'Runway Busters' has not been played yet (should be a really cool one), and we can also replay the second campaign mission from Tactical Thursday, as we didn't have enough players to do it justice last Thurs.

Also, there are some of my missions that haven't been beaten yet on the server as well... I can think particularly of 'Excavation' on Chernarus (with the Ka-50, Shilka, and BMP-3), 'Rotorbuster' on Chernarus, and 'Mittelburg Bust' on Sbrodj. It would seem that I am a fan of 'busting.' wacky

Also the possibility of playing Rainmaker again (I have fixed it up since we last played, no issues now), and 'Road Rage' on Takistan if we were to have an exceptional turnout.

I'm waiting for Tao's Ghostbusters mission. I'll be Ray.

Who ya gonna call? PMC Ghostbusters, no doubt. Can do some really neat things in ArmA without mods... like retexture these guys and many vehicles. I'm still thinking of cool ways to use this ability, along with stuff like unusual weapons like the AH-6 with Mk19.

Good missions tonight. Poor Beans in the last one! He took a bullet for me, and then for whatever reason my guy couldn't heal him before he died in my arms. I've never seen that happen before. Wounded

Some good times while it lasted. My electricity dropped out due to nearby storms during the night/flashlight mission. That was weird, since I was intently scanning my very dark monitor while following Jojo through sector 2. And then just like that everything was dark. REALLY dark.

biggrin

Yeah, we got that call out from Bravo Lead that we had guys prone right next to us so I hit the dirt just as the AKs opened up. I was doing just fine pretending to be a patch of grass until a stray grenade landed next to me. I wonder if since it took so long to rescue me that it was impossible to heal me. Fun times either way. I had a real good time on the TT campaign mission. Using those AH-6's as airborne artillery was pretty cool. I really wanted to play that runway buster map though.

Had a great time guys. That night mission we played was especially interesting since my optics were pretty much useless with night vision on and with NV off, I could barely see anything anyway via my scope.

I was lucky in that the SPR had a NVG scope, but I was often so far away and the enemies were doing that spastic dance they do along with the "distant server-caused jitter" that makes their routes non-contiguous that I used every round I had, or roughly since I got one-shot kills I wasted the shots in almost every clip but one.
Ok, I had ONE round left.

It was fun chasing the AN-2's and forcing the one to belly land in the hills. I got to return later and finish him off at my leisure.
