I'm a huge fan of the show but I never felt compelled to try the MMO. I guess it's because I have a lot of games already that take up my time.

Yeah totally understandable. There are a lot of time consumers out on the market now.

Though to be honest, for a free game its quite good.

Well I am on tauron server and if anyone wants to join up give me a shout.

Tried it out a bit when it was in beta, wasn't a fan of the combat at all. It felt very restricted to a single, flat, plane. I want to be able to maneuver up and down and have spiraling dogfights, not a circular turning battle. And the weapon systems just bugged me. I wish it was more action and less MMO.

Is there an overall storyline to the game or is it just mostly piloting a Viper or Cylon Raider and blasting each other in space? I'm thinking of installing this soon and giving it a try. Hey it's free so why not? smile

No install needed. Just go to the website and try it out.

not really a storyline. Its basically a tug of war of battle over a host of systems.

As renic said, there is no install needed. Its a web browser game and free. Not very complex and fun considering its free. Ships range from vipers to capital ships. PvP and PvE

The only thing i did have to install is a plug in for my web browser to get it to work. On my laptop (win 7) worked fine with IE. But on my old XP 32 bit tower it worked better with mozilla.

Anyway let me know how you get on.
