I think ED would be good to offer some mod teams access the source code to build some odd aircraft that they never would make flyable. They could of course require standards for the planes and require full documentation for said aircraft before they allowed a mod team to build the plane. ED could then offer to sell the planes for ~$20-30 and even give a few dollars to the mod team and still come out in the black.

It'd be a win-win, but I guess it isn't worth the hassle.


An SDK is a long term Goal AFAIK.
