I'm excited to say I've finally completed my first production level Android app and published it on the Android market.

The app is called Kismo and is located at https://market.android.com/details?id=net.kismo.kismo

Still working on the "pitch" but basically Kismo is a new kind of social networking tool that allows you to find new people based on your interests, likes, and passions in life. For example, I could potentially use it to find other SimHQers in and around Atlanta just by doing a keyword search in the Friends mode of the app and setting my search range to 25 or 50 miles. If I wanted to sweep a crowd of people at an airshow, I could set my range down to say, 1000 feet and set the app in auto mode which would notify me at certain intervals if other SimHQers came within range as I moved around the airshow grounds. I've noticed in using it, it's kind of like having a sixth sense.

Anyhow, I won't do the hard sell here, just excited to finally get it out there as I've been working on it for almost 2 years. Wish me luck!
