Hey George1,

Right side switch panel towards the front there is a DED switch that controls this. Sorry but I can remember the exact location or the keystrokes but it is definitely in that area .... plus I'm away from my gaming rig so I can't see it.

Hope that helps ....

Cheers cheers

It's the DED DATA switch on the HUD Remote Control Panel, at the upper part of the right console. It can be set to display the DED, the PFL (Pilot Fault List), or off. Its default keystroke is the backslash (/) key on the numeric keyboard.

Thanks guys --- that was good advice and I was able to turn off the HUD DED.

However --it still defaults back to on when I re-enter the cockpit so I have to turn it off again in every mission. I do not think it should be a default situation.

Possibly there is a a cfg setting somewhere

Sounds like you set it default with your cockpit save, assuming that's still a feature of BMS and or you're flying BMS.

I actually like the DED on the HUD. Helps me keep focused outside the pit rather than trying to squint to read the tiny DED panel itself.

The setting can be set and saved in the "Weapons Delivery psrogram" ( got the info from the BMS site)
