Jasta 5 is hosting a fun afternoon of shooting turkeys for those of you who have become tired of football, food, and relatives running around your house. Retire quietly to your cockpit with your favorite beverage, slip on your headphones, take to the skies and go on a turkey shoot!

Event Start Day/Time – November 24th , 2000 UTC – November 25th, 2000 UTC

Event Location – Jasta 5 game server “Turkey Shoot”.

Objectives/Missions – There are two rotating missions. The missions are balloon busting and “turkey” shooting. Each side will have one turkey to fly per mission. This is a better aeroplane. If you shoot down the enemy “turkey” there is a bonus. Shoot down as many balloons/turkeys as you can while staying alive. Watch for Archie (AAA) as it might be somewhat heavier than you are used to. The first mission centres around Verdun sector in the south around September/October 1916 featuring mainly French and German aeroplanes. The Second is playing out around Cambrai sector and will feature mainly British and German aeroplanes. There are both historical and fictional elements in these missions. The fields in use for central side are historical Jasta 5 airfields, Bellevue Ferme in use 1916-09-26 - 1916-09-29 and Gonnelieu 1916-09-30 - 1917-03-10.

Mission Time Limit for each mission is 120 minutes. Off course mission can end sooner if one side wins. A new mission automatically starts after the end of a mission.

Server settings - Full real, no helpers, skins, armament, and fuel (gasp!) locked. That’s the way it is folks.

Units wishing to go on a "group hunt" are encouraged to post the day/time (UTC) they plan on showing up.

This is a fun event, so everyone please fly honourably and fairly.
