So far, the only issues I'm dealing with are no rocket "whoosh" sound when firing unguided rockets. I can hear the impacts and explosions if close enough, but no "whooshing".

Also, targets and background objects are flickering in my Shkval targeting screen and even rear-view mirrors. I'm sure this has something to do with how my graphics are set up. But I'm pretty much a retard when it comes to graphics settings, like what setting affects what.

Does anybody have any thoughts about these two issues? Any key graphics settings I should avoid that eat away at performance more than others.

PS: If these are double-posted I apologize. I searched first but didn't find anything.

EDIT: Fired my first Vihkrs, and apparently, the ATGM whoosh doesn't "whoosh" anymore either.
EDIT2: The Vihkrs and rockets both "whoosh" when in external view, just not inside the cockpit. Even inside the cockpit, I would expect to hear something, since I can hear the engines loud enough, along with every switch and button push, etc.

Turning water to low from medium gave me a nice fps boost (~10%) for hardly a noticable loss in quality of water graphics. You might give it a try.

rofl

I just did, and sure enough, it was there, though slightly muffled, probably due to the pilot's helmet. I guess it was intentional, lol.

Sometimes the most common sense ideas are the hardest to think of.

the cockpit volume is very low in bs2. i fixed this by turning the top volume slider to 100, and leaving the rest of the volume sliders(helmet, world, etc) at 50.

Yeah, the rear set of undercarriage doors for the main gear struts don't move on mine either.
