Thanks guys....

Had to talk with the soon to be ex this morning.... still tough. But with more nights like Friday in the future, I think I'll be okay. It's just going to take some time. 20 years is a huge book to turn the page on.

Regarding the "line", I am 3 for 3 when using it. Used it on the girlfriend before the wife, used it on the wife, and used it Friday night as a test shot across the bow. It's not a fancy line, nor is it a "player move". It's just an observation of something some women do when out on the town. I just happen to notice it when most other men do not.... The secret is not the line, it is the position it puts them in. They *want* to talk to me as they are not sure if they heard it correctly. :-)

It's actually pretty funny. My buddy saw me approach the girl, lean into her ear and back away. He said her reaction was priceless as she looked like she could not put two words together after I walked away.

Awesome, good to ehar, you still will have bad days, but as time goes on they will be less frequent, and if you do hook up with a young lady, well that goes a long way too.

cool, but do not overdo it. trust me as i am probably the most crazy and party-active-ladykilling person on these forums, it's easy to go overboard and wreck yourself

take a break next weekend and then go out again on the next friday or saturday.

mid 20's women like older guys, but don't waste a lot of money on them buying drinks and stuff. consider letting other guys buy drinks and then cutting in and taking your prize elsewhere.

one thing...don't talk about your recent relationship issues with women. it bothers them even if they don't say so. never admit you're weak or sensitive.

good luck and have fun dating again. be careful with your wallet and don't make drinking to relax a crutch.

(fyi one of my jobs is as host in japan, all my weekends are spent entertaining women in bars..i've seen people destroy themselves through excessive partying and alcohol)

My character somehow got all twisted up. I was playing the mission where you have to infiltrate the Golden Glow Estate and do multiple things. When I was out burning beehives and fighting I just eventually ran away to view my success from a distance. I first noticed it when I squated down on a tree trunk. Coot..the squatter../simHQ/2011
