I don't understand. Why is this unavailable?
If you have patched the sim to v4.11 or above these Midway Quick missions are part of the v4.11m patch so you won't need the files. When they were made available in the v4.11m patch I deactivated the download at M4T so people wouldn't continue to download the files since they already have them.
Murphy has created a new install and is not going to patch beyond v4.10.1 so instead of having him download the entire v4.11m patch to get the files I just uploaded the ones he needed to my file hosting account. I know the files will work with the v4.10.1 patch even though they were released in the v4.11m patch since I made them using the v4.10.1 patch.
Hope that makes sense now.

You might not like it Tolwin, it's 'probably' a P-51 taking off a carrier, to attack Midway island.
A 'take-off' on the "P-51 on carriers" thread.
Doesn't sound like something 'most' people would want to fly.
Me.....I just wanted to fly a P-51 off a carrier deck.

...haven't tried it yet.
Wheels just dug it up, for me to try....

...put it out for a day on his own account, and took it down, needed the space. If you seriously want it, I'll send you the download, PM me.
The files should be packed in an auto installer Murphy. All you need to do is point the files to the IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 folder and they should install correctly.
(I set up the Auto installer for these files to work exactly like you were installing an Official patch.)
These files play just like a regular QMB mission Murphy. Click on the QMB Button and then find the Midway or Midway1 map in the drop down list. Pick the aircraft you want to fly and the Scramble Target type of mission and hit fly and you will spawn on a carrier deck.
Click the Quick Mission Builder button

Pick the plane you want to fly
Pick the Scramble Target from the dropdown list
Pick the Midway map from the drop down list if you want to scramble from a Japanese generic carrier. (You must fly as an Axis pilot)
Pick the Midway1 map if you want to scramble from an American generic carrier. (You must fly as an Allied pilot)
(Up in the top right corner is a Chose Side button that will switch you from Allies to Axis.)
