Brett Member Registered: 03/13/09 Posts: 376	I have played BS before (a good while ago) and have recently upgraded to BS2. Any tips on what axis is which (there is something like 20 displyed on the pull down). So far I have Pitch and roll figured out (Joy x and Joy Y....lol) I also have my ECCI wheel connected to the computer at the same time....not sure if this is relevant

Someone may have a cheat-sheet handy, but here's my tip: when you double-click the box you want to make an assignment it, just move whichever axis you want to assign to that control. Brett Member Registered: 03/13/09 Posts: 376	Thanks Einstein, I thought i had tried that but I guess I didn't lol. I did a quick check and I was able to select the collective (throttle) so at least now I can go up and down....lol I'll have to work on programming the rest

Please come back and post your success at programming your HOTAS for BS2. I'm terrible at programming. Smokin_Hole Member Registered: 07/30/09 Posts: 348	No programming needed. Listen to Einstein (never a bad idea). See a control you want then click the button that you wish to use to do the thing. Keep going til you are finished. Don't forget to assign a button for shifting--pinky works well. You might find the mini-stick to be useless (at least I did). DCS HOTAS assignments are the easiest in the business.
