This short demonstration depicts three different satellites in orbit:
Cosmos-626, a Russian RORSAT. USA-186, a US KH-12-series imaging satellite. USA-200, a US Jumpseat-2 signals-intelligence satellite.
Props to anyone who can identify the soundtrack, and its relevance, without using a tune-recognition app…

lol, as soon as I started watching I thought strangely familiar, and 2nd thought was James Bond.
I immediately thought it was Thunderball? That's the one where they take out the Satellites. Though I may be wrong and haven't checked, I know a guy at work who is quite the bond aficionado and would know in a second no doubt!
Looks amazing BTW, good job on the continuing development!

Ok,I think I got it,or at least a bit warmer.
It's from Diamonds are Forever.(still can't identify the track) In the film a military satellite is hijacked and is used to destroy targets on Earth.

Dimitris,
Have they decided to release this title in segments or modules, much like the Harpoon series did? I know its bad form to rush to market, but this is taking an insane amount of time and I am tired of messing with the broken Harpoon ANW edition. Everything you've been kind enough to show looks fantastic, just getting tough to stay excited over, for me anyways, to something that's dragging on to a release date. It's not to say I won't buy it, I most certainly will. I just honestly forget about it until we get the quarterly update and then I tell myself "oh yeah, that's still in production."
I swear, not looking for a detailed release timeline, but can you share some marginally realistic info with regards to when it might be released. And thank you, as stated before, for sharing updates. It looks fantastic!
Matt

Matt, Thanks for the very kind words. We have been working like mad on this game, and we hope it shows. We will be trying really hard to make a first public release within the coming year. Whether this will be a beta or "production" version is hard to say at this point. But our aim of releasing before the Mayan apocalypse is still very much on

Dimitris,
Thank you for the reply. I have loved strategic and tactical naval warfare since the advent of Harpoon and Dangerous Waters. I tried to get into Harpoon ANW, but it's just too glitchy. I know you've run the poll on your website about types of releases, have you and your group started leaning any partiuclar way, ie paid beta, modules or work it until complete? I have personally found the paid beta very accpetable and allowing me to track the bugs as the other users catch them too. I don't think in my 20 years of pc gaming, that I have ever bought a single title that didn't require a patch.
Thanks and have a great day.
Matt

We are carefully considering the future path. As you know, a false decision at this can destroy an otherwise excellent project.

Dimitris,
Thanks again for taking time to reply. I am certain no matter which way you go, it will be well supported. Just know it's been a loooong time since a decent modern naval game has been put out and am certain there are many that cut their teeth on Harpoon just waiting to dig into a more updated engine and grpahics. Now, get back to work........(whip cracking..)
Matt

I am impressed. I don't have any explanation of how this project got past me but, it did. I'm heading over there to sign up at the forum. I hope there is a mailing list in order to keep old fogeys like me updated. This is certainly a must buy. Jaeger
