My little story of WWIII May 1946 has reached a point where the Soviets are going to attempt to sweep the skies clean over Great Britain. Not for invasion purposes but just to force their neutrality and to prevent them from becoming an "unsinkable aircraft carrier" for the US.

The US is busy elsewhere and is setting up a knockout blow and cannot assist the Brits at this juncture. The Brits are outnumbered 5 to 1.

Details at www.wwiii1946.blogspot.com

The Soviets will be focusing on the airfields and on the RAF fighters in particular much like the Germans did before they became distracted by bombing London.

My question is using the plane set from UP3 what jets would be the best match for the Meteor and Vampire? I know none of them look even close but I guess what I'm regulated to will be performance.

Thank you in advance.

Ironically the engines used in the first succesful russian jets were sold to them by the British post-war.... smile
E.g. the Mig-15 used license-built Rolls-Royce Nene's
Cheers

If you're say the Meteor and Vampire have been released as flyable mods, it's news to me.

Ha, no misunderstanding. I know they are not flyable but I'm looking for the closest thing to at least mimic their flight model.

Sorry for the mixup.
