I can't use my G-13, KB, mouse, rudder pedals and Warthog all at the same time?

Oh well, I guess my G13 is going back. I bought it for this game. Sigh...

actually it sucks that BFBC2 and even the beta of BF3 supportted my G15 keyboard (the LCD display), yet BF3 does not... sucks, and thx for the info I was thinking about getting a G13 just for this game.

I opened a ticket with EA to ask if this was going to be addressed. I will keep you posted.

You'd need 4 hands to use them all at the same time!

I have to unplug my Warthog / Cougar and pedals all of a sudden, otherwise my keyboard won't work properly :-/
don't know why it's started to do this, as I have played and completed the campaign while it was all plugged in with not a single issue, I played online the first time the other day, and since then several actions on the keyboard would not work until I unplugged the rest of it.. pain in the rear if you ask me !

For infantry play, I would use my G-13 and mouse. If I choose to jump in a Jet, I want to switch to my warthogs seamlessly. I should not have to decide before hand to restrict my style of play for an entire sitting based on the limitations of the games ability to work with my controllers.

I have to disable my CH HOTAS with Control Manager or else I get all kinds of weird control issues. Damn shame too since flying jets with a mouse/kb is ridiculously hard when you can't change the sensitivity for the vehicles. I end up just doing 's' turns the whole time trying to correct my over-corrections lol (until I inevitably end up crashing)

HAHAHA ok that explains a lot. Attempting to configure joystick controls is a frustrating experience. Indeed, I seem to be totally unable to pick which joystick and axis I want to use.

I have around 10 input devices plugged it at any one time, manually unplugging them all is a time consuming process.

I ended up bringing the game back to eb and exchanged it for Skyrim after getting this response from ea support...

"Please don't worry Its a known issue and developers are working on it and hopefully this issue will resolve in future patches."



So, it's still installed on my PC and, thanks to Origin it does not require the disk to play so, I may still play it but, I am disappointed in having to pay $10 more than a regular PC title and having the developer not give a rats ass about a pretty serious flaw in the game.

Lets see how useful twitter is. I just sent a tweet to Alan Kertz, core game designer...

@Demize99 Any plans on addressing the problem BF3 has with multiple game controllers/joysticks on the PC?

I am able to use a USB mouse, G13, and Microsoft USB joystick OK.
