My Dad was a Veteran's Affairs service officer from right after WWII until he retired in 1975. In his company I visited scores of service men and women here at the VA hospital and went on many conventions, meeting hundreds of WWII and Korean conflict vets, as well as a few WWI vets and one Civil War widow. It seemed to be a natural choice to serve when my time came. Thank you all, fellow veterans, past, present, and future. The world is a better place thanks to you.
