During one of my latest sessions with JF18, I was returning to the carrier only to discover that I had to move my stick 1/2 to 3/4 of its travel for it to have any effect. I know at low speed, high AoA things get less sensitive, but this was ridiculous. I exited out with the intention of resetting my sensitivities in the TSH manager. Everything was all screwed up though. All of my painstakingly adjusted numbers had been reset to 18 and 19 with a huge DB. I thought I could just correct it and save, but now every time I open the TSH Manager I have the same thing. Any ideas?

Try to adjust the joystick curves in the game instead. I think the alternate joystick sensitivity settings in the TSH manager is for toggling sensitivity during refueling/landings. I've never messed with it so I could be wrong.

I have always flown with ALL sensitivity sliders set all the way up to 100%.

Saitek X52: no problems. Perhaps I prefer maximum sensitivity rather than dampened response.

I normally fly with all the sensitivities at max as well, as long as I can still control it. I ended up with a curve in JF18 that started at 80 on the first couple of sliders and went up from there. That's why I was surprised when it felt like the controls were mushy.

I'm still not sure why they reset, and why I'm not able to change them in the TSH manager anymore, but I was able to take omegaFlak's advice and change them via the control menu in-game. For now that seems to be working.

IIRC, the 'Alternate Joystick Sensitivity' is for the second joystick that may be connected to the system.

Alternate Joystick Sensitivity

Joystick sensitivity can be controlled in-game in Jane's F-18. TSH add-ons provide the capability to create alternate joystick sensitivity settings and toggle between the two sensitivities in flight. To use an alternate stick sensitivity (for example, less sensitive settings for refueling or landing)...

Thanks guys, I was incorrectly trying to use the alternate joystick sensitivity as my settings. Using the in-game adjustments I believe that I now have everything sorted.
