Chaps,
I do not own a single Apple device but there is some music that i want that is only available via iTunes. If i create an iTunes account is there a restriction to what mobile device i can play the music on? Is it restricted to use on an Apple product?

cheers
Marcus

You can convert any Itunes music purchase to MP3 simply by burning a CD within Itunes music,
and then importing the music CD back into your computer as MP3. You must use Itunes preferences to
setup import settings and bitrates for MP3 or WAV.

So you really don`t need to own any Apple devices, Only thing you will need is Itunes and an
account with.

The only problem with that is when burning to a CD, you are converting a MP3 which is lossy to a WAV file which is lossless. Then ripping it back to a MP3 which is lossy.

There will be some loss of quality for sure.

OK chaps, cheers for the assistance. Do Apple force musicians to restrict the sale of their music to iTunes only as a condition of using iTnes to release music, or is it the choice of the musicians to restrict the sale of their music to iTunes only?
