Vasco - I think that I see the problem. Going to take a code fix to correct it. Thanks for the report.

10.2 is a small update. It fixes the bug that Vasco found and does ground starts for escort and balloon bust. No more air starts. It seems a simple thing but it was really pretty hairy, especially the escort. P.S. you should not have to restore anything on install. ROFCampaign should not del;ete either your campaign or your personal configs. Of course, you might want to back up anyway just in case I'm wrong smile.

It will probably be a little while before it is available on CombatAce or through the useful materials link. Give it a bit of time before you download. No luck getting it up on WoH.

V10.2
- Balloon bust missions now take off and land
- Escort missions now take off and land - this one was hairy
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed bomber take off (Thanks Vasco)
- Fixed bomber drop point

Pat, I have a question about about flying with Jasta 10 in September of 1917 stationed at La Petrie. I chose this Jasta because I wanted to try a career flying the DR.1. My first 3 missions were in the DR.1, but the 4th mission is in an Albatros D.Va. Is your CG set up so that it will assign us to various aircraft that the Jasta was flying at that time in history? And this is why I was put in a D.Va for this mission?

I have a question I keep forgetting to ask.

A week ago I flew a mission and ran into Manfred Von richtofen but he wasn't using his Red fokker skin, he had a regular default Dr.1 skin. Here's a picture

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

But I've seen other planes and aces using custom skins do you know why he didn't have his proper skin? I have all the packs installed from the ROF site.

The DRI was withdrawn from service after wing failures killed Gontermann and a couple of others, so that makes sense. What I am less sure about is that I do not have it coming back to Jasta 10. You get the Pfalz instead until the Fokker D.VII arrives (AFAIK Jasta 10 received them first). If somebody can provide me with correct information I will put the Fokker back in service with Jasta 10.

RedPiano: I am not sure how aces are correlated to skins. I thought it was by name but I am not sure. If somebody has definitive information then please lt me know.

One thing to consider is that RoF might be really accurate (we were in WFP for Red Baron). MvR did not always fly an all red triplane. He flew several, which varied from pretty much stock to partially red to the almost all red one in which he was killed.

Or his skin is just not getting picked up - hard to tell smile.

Hi I have just started using this campaign generator. I have set the path for results to C:\Program Files (x86)\777\Rise of Flight\data, and have set mission_text_log = 1 in Startup.cfg.

However, when I finish a flight and click on 'Continue' and then click on 'Automatic AAR', I always get the message "No mission result sets - were results created for your mission?"

Do I need to complete the mission to have results generated? Sometimes I need to run to home base without completing it etc.

Any suggestions welcome thanks smile

I think that any press of "finish" will generate the results file. You don't actually have to land or do any specific thing.

RoFCampaign missions never have an "objective" that you are required to complete to continue. I always hated that in military sims. Just like in real life the objectives specified by the mission are a request (maybe a very firm request, but a request nevertheless). If you fail to complete them life moves on. Your objective is to fly, do your best, and try to come home.

With that in mind ... the first thing is to make sure that RoF is generating the results file. Check that first. Once you know that it is then make sure that RoFCampaign is pointing at the right directory - the one containing the results files. If both of those are true then this issue should be resolved.
