I like the type of game for the hunting... it's a hunt, and my hunter is usually a HOT big boobed elve, and the hunted is creaters bigger then most things in real life. lol

Now these SP games need to have a good story or big enviroment... I like to think of these games as Red Dead redemption type games but in a different envioroment.

But frankly, I prefer the co-op play like was in the Neverwinter Night series... you have a team of 4, a squad lets call them... the fighter is the assualt guy, the archer is the supression guy, and the magic user... OK, not sure what he is, lol... but they work together just like a miltiary squad but instead of killing waves of enemy soldiers it's waves of giant spiders, orcs, Minotars, and sometimes dragons.

So really to me, all these games are very simular in play style, just different locations, different weapons... and RPG females are always hotter then FPS woman... have you ever seen a military shooter with a barely dressed, large breasted woman holding a machine gun? No, but if they did i'd buy it. wink

I'm loving Skyrim and I'm only 3 hours in to it.

I can see that the modders will make this even better!

Thank god for Fallout series

My thoughts as well. I like sci fi, STALKER style, or even set in the real world... but I can't stand the fantasy genre.

Erm, Stalker is a 'fantasy' too, you're not going to actually be able to do that in real life. In fact all the sims and FPS's we play are fantasies as we are not going to get to do that (Ok a small number of us do/have, but the majority haven't and never will).

I think some people find it harder to imagine a different "past" (Swords, Castles, Dragons) than a different future (Atomic Cars, Energy Weapons).

And also maybe it's the magic vs. technology angle. It's not so hard to believe in advanced technology than it is to believe in Dragons.

I can do both.

Excellent observations RSColonel.

To many people (including me), "Fantasy" specifically means a world/setting with dragons, wizards, orcs, elves, magic, etc.

Other people have a more generalized view of what "fantasy" means and thus would consider things like Star Wars to be fantasy since none of the technology is ever explained and there are supernatural elements.
