I know I changed the length of the base adaptor by a small amount but I didn't think I changed the depth of the bore for the female thread so I was just curious what depth I may have done on yours.

If it is annoying you then def do what I suggested above. Another good one is some rubber, like a rubber washer. Put that in there and it will also make sure that when you tighten the adaptor to the base it will not wiggle free from use. Not that mine has done that yet anyway.

Rubber washer found in water hoses should sort that issue out.

What is the stock wiring connector called from the inside of the stick to the base. I have made a wire extender for inside the tubing using the ps2 connector but want to try and find some that don't need to be modded other than some soldering.

Hi Chappy, There are not any off the shelf versions like that. You have to take a standard one and remove a pin and piece of plastic from one end and mill out a larger area from the female side.

I can supply you an already made cable to fit in a 4" extender, all working for $10 if you like.

no thanks I have a new one still in the package. Was just wondering if there was one that could have just needed to be shortened.

Hi guys, I have just finished some extenders but there is just enough to do one more. I wont be able to fit it in this week but if anyone is interested I can send it this time next week.

It's $85 + $20 shipping and if you don't want to do your own cable by following the instructions earlier in the thread I can make you up a modded cable for $10.

Thanks,
