Just wondering, does one exist? I don't think Javier's works other than in FSX, correct?

I'm not sure that I'm correct, but it sticks in my mind, perhaps erroneously, that there are older versions of Javier's carrier that were originally made for FS9. You might want to search the big FS9 download sites like Simviation, Avsim, and Flightsim.com.

That having been said, if you've got the cash, FSX Gold would net you Javier's ships compatibility, Dino's T-45C Goshawk, and Dino's Tomcat. Perhaps a worthwhile upgrade.

Aside from cats and traps on the Nimitz or Eisenhower, which I could do all the livelong day, if you pick up a nice chopper, maybe the Aerosoft Seahawk package which I own and love, or the Hovercontrol Bell 412 if you want freeware, Javier's package has a beautiful version of USNS Patuxent, with a very well done helicopter deck.

Placing the ships is easy, and then you can put them in motion and even set waypoints or turn them as needed, and have a moving deck to land on, both fixed wing carrier stuff and helicopter small decks.

That's a lot to gain for twenty-six bucks!

But if you're dedicated to FS9, good luck and I hope you can find something. Shipboard ops are a lot of fun!

Cheers!

Hmm, I've never really been happy with what I've found for FS9. I'm looking for a new PC (1st since 2003) for Christmas, maybe it is time to move up to FSX. Thanks Rick!
