Trying to set up my settings again after a clean reinstall due to corrupt files here and there and stumbled across a phenomenom that just stumped any further lust of getting back into the career mode..

I set up my X52 the usual way, but when I use throttle in-game it only works from the range of 50% to 100%, so I tried the setting up CH Throttle Quadrant instead and same problem... So I set throttle back to 0% and went back into the settings, and re-mapped the throttle, and now it only works from 0% to 50%..

Not in a big rush to fix the problem right now as it really completely put me out of the little RoF mood I had, but if anyone sniffs up a workaround and shared it here thatd be great smile

I came across a similar odditiy when i flew in OFF.The power only seemed to rise as far as something like 90%(going on memory here)and in the end i noticed that the throttle wheel on my CH Stick was not at zero or completely shut off.Once i did this the CH throttle quadrant worked fine. This may not be the same thing as your experiencing but worth a look anyway.

A reinstall of the game worked, I`ve had it on the harddrive since release so I figured the ini files for the controls might be corrupted or something like that.

I have a similar problem in IL2 46 though, and I did a fresh install of that yesterday..
None of the levers goes all the way to 100%, i.e when I should be getting 110% throttle (WEP power) in-game, I`m actually getting 97%, and same with Radiator(s), I should be getting all the way open (i.e 100%) but I`m only getting 95% :S The calibration in the CH manager doesnt work either, when I click the test/calibration icon in the software, it says select the device to calibrate, ok.. wheres the select button?
A rescan does nothing visible on my part either..
Tried reinstall but`ah no go..
What a mess!
I should have bought a couple of Saitek units instead..

When you click on calibration another window should open showing the devices you have installed.Click on the one you want and then click "ok" at the bottom right of the window and it should take you to the calibration window.

That didnt work either.
I was reminded that the throttle might need a simple plug out-in, that did the trick!
For some reason it hadnt been properly detected by CH manager despite registering max and minimum detent values when using the sliders.. This allowed me to load the proper drivers via the CH manager and it`s all good now, the values are properly registered by both RoF and IL2 smile
