@ ChwyNiblet

You need two things. First you need the X-52 Pro mod itself, and second you need DeviceLink_2_1. You can download DeviceLink_2_1 from here . Once you've got it, just drop it into your mods folder.

To get the X-52 Pro mod running you just click the .exe and hit enter, then run your IL-2 game. That’s it.

If you do not speak Spanish, the manual has been translated into English here. Good luck.

Would love to try this but can't get it from the above site. Anywhere else it's available?

Well I figured out that I needed to input my IP address into DeviceLink, but even after I did that the CMD was telling me that it was controlling my joysticks lights, but I did not see that.

You must first setup the (port) number and the (IP) address that is assigned to your PC. This can be seen by opening a DOS window and running the command…

(Ipconfig).

If the IP is not correct, the program will be blocked waiting for communication after you enter the name of the config.ini file. Both the value of the IP and the Port must be included in the (config.ini) located in the root folder of your IL-2 game. Under the [DeviceLink] section of the config.ini file it should look something like this…

[DeviceLink]
port = 10000
IPS = 192.168.1.128

NOTE: Where IPS is, put your IP.

Also, you didn’t say anything about loading up the config.ini file so that might be your problem. If you have it installed correctly…

1: Hit the .exe file to bring up the CMD.

2: Hit the enter key to load the default config.ini file. (My config.ini)

NOTE: After you load the config.ini file you will get a message telling you that it’s waiting for IL-2 to be running.

3: Run the game,

If you have it installed correctly and you load up the default config.ini file, you will see the lights flash when you lower your landing gear.

I hope that helps. Good luck.
