What? Wikipedia didn't say anything about it last time I checked. So, I guess it's a bit unfair to judge another sims that use "gmotor" engine just because they can't make AI as good as GTR2/Race07, since probably Simbin uses their own "AI engine". Makes me a little worry about how rF2 AI will be..

I'm hoping they took PMotor up to 3.0, or at least 2.75....tire flat spots, mechanical wear, tire wear, body roll. Those are the things that are going to make rF2 stand out I think, at least from the simulation perspective. The lighting tweaks we've seen for GMotor 2.0 to acheive 2.5 are pretty good, so I'm not worried about that. C.A.R.S. has set a pretty high standard for graphics with a WIP Alpha that's going to be hard to beat....I can take 2.0+'s graphics if the overall physics are more detailed in rF2.

There are a few really good AI for rFactor like the Skodas. The problem is, rFactor plain vanilla has mediocre at best AI, and add-on developers don't tweak it. But they are supposedly really working on the base AI in rF2. We'll see. smile

I really want a sim with good AI. I race on my own time (ie when I can) so I rely on the game to provide the opponents. rfactor's was poor, Simbin's and Codemasters is...better than that, but that's really all you can say.
