Could someone please post some unaltered Jutland screenshots?

And opinions on the title please?

I've been vacillating on this one for awhile.

I'm probably going to add another naval title in the next week or so, and it's tough to come up with anything new and different.

I've got all the usual suspects, from Dangerous Waters to Silent Hunter 4. I've even still got Fleet Command and Destroyer Command installed and running under Windows 7 64-bit.

I've been looking at PT Boats: Knights of the Sea and South Gambit, Jutland, and even considering Ship Simulator Extreme.

PT Boats seems nice, but I was hoping for a larger vessel.

Jutland sounds good, but in the demo the graphics are poor and the controls are somewhat less than intuitive.

Ship Simulator Extreme is desperation, not really my sort of thing, but I thought at least I could get my hands on a Coast Guard cutter.

Any suggestions? I wish someone would do a truly great WWII batteleship sim, with well modeled bridge, free movement throughout the ship with proper compartment numbers, and global scenery or at least the entire Pacific. I know, dream on, right?

Thanks in advance for any Jutland screens or advice.

Cheers!

Heh, you can dream that doesn't hurt. I would love a modern reincarnation of Destroyer command, the Silent hunter 5 graphics overhaul would rock!

Well I chopped his head off, that usually does the trick.
Yes, don't get clever with me Baldrick. I just thought you might have lopped off a leg or something by mistake.
No, the thing I chopped off had a nose.

I can post some later on tonight once I switch laptops.

I like the idea of Jutland, but I would have a hard time recommending it. Please don't let me dissuade you from getting it, as from what I can tell a great deal of people enjoy it.

I have a very high tolerance for 'boring' naval games, I just love looking at the ships, and watching the salvos fly. But I can't stand the control scheme, and especially getting hammered constantly by the Kriegsmarine uber gunners just sours the experience.

But for some reason I'm looking forward to firing it up later and trying my luck again.

I'm with you on all the above. Well put...
