Falcon 4 w/ BMS 4.32, manual precedence order?

Any guidance as to the "order of precedence" as far as the supplied manuals go? For example, if I want to operate the HARM missile, which manual should I go to first, then which of the additionally provided manuals should I refer to, in order towards final precedence. I must be missing something in the middle, as I've reviewed the original F4 manual, then looked at the BMS 4.32 supplied manual, but something isn't kosher when I attempt to go through the original HARM missle deployment tactical engagement (the one that came with the original simulator). Instead of telling me "how" outright to use the HARM, I'd rather know which manuals to go to in which order; as they supply a bunch of them with the BMS 4.32 install.
Thanks. And I haven't fired up F4 is a LONG time, so excuse the naivite on my part please. This recent BMS 4.32 has fixed a lot of graphics issues I had with Allied Force version that had basically kept me from playing it using my ATI Radeon 5770 HD. Everything looks very nice now across the board with this mod.
Anyhow, I digress. Any help telling me the exact order of manuals I should look up information in for a particular weapons employment sequence, would be very beneficial. I'm almost tempted to do a layman's guide to weapons deployment in 4.32 once I get the precedence down pat and can walk through it with my limited attention span! I just want a nice quick layman's approach to employing each major weapon system using BMS 4.32. The provided manual is fine, but it's more of an addendum to previous manuals; and I'm having difficulty as a pure Allied Force user (and prior to that pure F4 with official patches user only) perspective.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

The Allied Force manual, together with the BMS 4.32 manual, should actually cover pretty much everything. The changes to the HARM are detailed on pp. 96-99, for example, including the newly implemented POS and HAS modes. These new modes are given a pretty cursory rundown in the manual, but the HAD should function more or less like you're used to in Allied Force. (With the exception that you're now required to designate your own pre-planned threats in pre-flight.)
The SP3/SP4/BMS 2.0 manuals won't tell you anything you didn't already know from studying your Allied Force manual, and I suppose the Realism Patch 5.0 manual and original Falcon 4.0 manual were included for the sake of completeness. They contain lots and lots of interesting tidbits, but they won't teach you how to employ the HARM in BMS.
Lastly, as far as I know, the training TEs in BMS 4.32 are all specific to BMS. I'm not sure which "original sim" TE you're describing here.

Thank you! I will take that approach then. I had been going back to my original F4 manual then to the BMS manual. I do own both Allied Force and the original F4, so coolness.
And regarding this... "Lastly, as far as I know, the training TEs in BMS 4.32 are all specific to BMS. I'm not sure which "original sim" TE you're describing here."
I was unaware that those were specific to BMS. I thought those were from Falcon 4.0 (the original version, not Allied Force).

Karuse's training guides cover the weapons and basics enough for you to fly missions. They're much, much better than reading manuals... unless you're into that type of learning. He covers all weapons systems and a little more with relevant HUD symbology in a no BS, layman's way of teaching.

Awesome WynnTTr. Thank you! (all of you). I'm ok with filling in the blanks technically after the fact, but there is a point where I just want do this, then this, then this, now fire, no frills explanations. I always go back and learn more about all of the selections being made, to better understand potential variations of steps to obtain different results in different approaches, scenarios, etc. but, "Just the facts Mamn" always works best with my attention span of a newt. Thanks.

Those tutorial videos were a Godsend. They helped me out immensely. In other news, the one issue that was throwing me off considerably was this problem w/ Blank MFDs after switching master modes: http://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showt...-mode-Read-here

I'm a bit late to the party, but many thanks for asking this Q (and to those that replied) as I'd been wondering the same thing. It's been years since I've been able to dedicate enough time to Falcon to do it justice, and BMS 4.32 seems the perfect point at which to jump back in.
Cheers!
