I've only seen two - Logan's Run and Demolition Man.

I actually really liked Demolition Man, some good action combined with some pretty good satire. Plus it had Sandra Bullock.

And this do's not happen today?

I was about 7 years old when I first saw "Logan's Run" on tv and I fell in love with her as soon as I saw her.

When I was watching Equilibrium, I thought "Oh, I've read this book, it's "This Perfect Day" by Ira Levin".

Besides it, I also only saw "Logan's Run" and "Demolition Man" too.

I realize it says "most" far fetched, but I don't think Demolition Man was all that far fetched, other than the short time frame for the change, ~30 yrs. You don't go to the three seashells in just 30 years. LOL

Everyone should see Equilibrium, just don't go over analyzing who is and who isn't showing emotion. LOL
The role that landed Bale the Batman movies.

Equilibrium was a fun movie to watch even though it was highly derivative. To me it was a mish-mash of "1984" and "The Matrix". The martial arts combat we see in the film had to have been inspired by the Matrix since the Matrix had just come out a couple of years beforehand.

Those are the same two that I have seen. Logan's run had Farrah.
Sandra Bullock was definitely hot in Demolition Man. I also remember it being the first movie I saw with Denis Leary.

One of the scenes I remember most from Demolition man is the scene in the under ground where he buys the burger because of the way the audience reacted. I went on opening night and the place was packed. When the scene where Stallone bought the burger was shown there were two separate and distict times when the audience laughed. The first laugh came from the part of the audience who heard the description and understood what the cook told him. A few seconds later the part of the crowd who understood English laughed because Stallone told us that he had just bought a rat burger. The crowd must have been about half and half since the reaction from both sounded about the same.
The reason it stuck in my mind was because I knew that if I still lived in the midwest when I saw it the reaction would have only been when Stallone told us what he had just bought.


Wheels

The writer has a whole background developed for the Gun Kata and all of that. I think they wanted to get to make a series of movies.
A lot of Matrix (first one) feel about it, but mainly reminds me of that Apple/IBM commercial from the 80's every time I see it. LOL
The movie picks up well about halfway through. Good cast, although Taye Diggs smiles too much for someone bereft of emotion.

Ditto for me on those two. Haven't seen Logan's Run in decades, literally, but I saw Demo Man within the last 15 years I think.
