I picked the last option but not because i'm against online racing; its a matter of time available and the fact that I just started racing so my meager skills would not likely endear me to others in an online race.

(Enjoying the heck out a Caterham on a road course like the Nordshleife (sp?), though...who cares if I come in last)
Regards,
Derek
I'd think if you can throw a Cat around Nordshleife you'd be just fine with what we generally offer online here!
It's hard to imagine people don't want to try online racing...maybe because I get so bored with offline racing and love the real competition and have been racing online now exclusively for years. I understand if you don't have the bandwidth strength, but I hear a few folks saying they don't think they have the skill yet to hop on the SimHQ server and give it a go. We offer up a lot of just for fun racing like the Skodas and that would be a great place to get your feet wet because if you're not banging bumpers and doors with the Skodas...you're not racing.

The folks who race on SimHQ servers are generally more than willing to help out a new guy, and wanting more competitors we understand that some of the new guys might spin somewhere more often, but that's okay, and we want to help out. Heck, I've been racing here since '05 but you couldn't tell after a few of our last events where I couldn't finish a race without wrecking out.

I win some, podium some, limp home on some, and DNF some...but it's all fun.

I'm not putting anyone down or anything for racing offline, it would just be cool to get some of you online to share the fun.
