It can include ONLINE MULTIPLAYER - MELEE and COOPERATIVE Games, and a Forum about custom maded new Missions, Mods, Manuals and tools for the game.
We can use this topic as a Checkpoint about this idea.

Yes, to second what ufolev said, I did suggest to him that we perhaps aim for another get-together in CG multiplayer.
I don't know, it's just that it's nearly that time of year again and the weather is cold outside so I want to be inside flying something - with friends if possible!

To play CG online you will need to have Windows 98 or XP and Kali (registered if possible). There is a tool to allow connection on Windows Vista/7 but that requires port forwarding via Windows and on some systems requires you to turn off your router firewall - which I'm sure you wouldn't agree on. Last year we played in Windows XP via Kali, as that has a built-in text chat function and at the time, was the only way to connect (as it emulates IPX). Windows XP via Kali is my recommended and most tested method.
Me or someone may need to get you all up-to-speed before any big events, as there can be hiccups along the way as the multiplayer in CG can be rather picky and is not that robust in terms of connectivity and bandwidth usage.
But please don't let this put any of you off, just understand that it's an old game that isn't done justice by its rather 'sloppy' multiplayer implementation and disregard for Windows 7.

Well, it's coming up to November but I can't say for sure when I will be ready for playing CG online as I have quite a lot on right now.
I am also working on my real Comanche website and it's taking quite a while to add all the content and make it like I want it... being a perfectionist it's taking twice as long!

There are only 3 steps to run Comanche Gold Multiplayer Online on WindowsXP with the Kali program via Kali Server
1. Install IPX/SPX protocol on WindowsXP
2. Download and install trial Kali program on WindowsXP and connect to Kali Server
3. Time coordination - All players need to revert their local time to universal time coordinated(UTC) former GMT to make a online game session - all together on the same time online.
